Living Endowment Partners

A strong statement of commitment

Living Endowment Partners make dreams a reality at The Carver Academy through their commitment of $50,000 annually for a five-year period. Through their support, Living Endowment Donors partner with The Carver Academy to provide the best educational opportunities to San Antonio students. Individuals, businesses and foundations who participate in the Living Endowment program commit to total gifts of $250,000 over five years.

Living Endowment Partners provide a significant portion of The Carver Academy's operating budget, which allows us to focus on other fundraising needs such as capital needs and endowment. The Living Endowment program provides the administration and board members the time to show measurable success of The Carver Academy's programs.

Scholarships

Providing opportunities for excellence

The Carver Academy is committed to meeting the educational needs of San Antonio's best and brightest students, regardless of their families' ability to pay. Two groups join us in this commitment: annual scholarship donors and endowed scholarship donors.

With more than 90 percent of our students on either full or partial scholarships, our need for scholarship donors will continue into the future.

Annual scholarship donors can fund either full scholarships at $10,000, or partial scholarships in any amount. Endowed scholarships can be established with initial gifts of $10,000 or more and will become fully endowed scholarships at $150,000.

The Carver Corps

Giving of time and resources

The Carver Corps expands the community of The Carver Academy to those who embrace our founding pillars of faith, service, leadership, discipline, initiative and integrity.

Carver Corps members:

  • Make an annual commitment of $1,000 for individuals and $2,500 for business Corps members
  • Assist with campus activities when needed
  • Participate in optional annual community service event
  • Commit to pray for God's blessing on The Carver Academy and its students

Endowment

Providing for the future

One of The Carver Academy's primary financial goals is to strengthen the endowment to support the programs in perpetuity. Through building the endowment, we ensure that the educational opportunities we provide will continue to be available to the best and brightest of the coming generations.

The Board of Directors for The Carver Academy has set a goal of raising a minimum of $50 million. While this is a tremendous task, we are confident that like-minded donors will join us in reaching this goal.
